MALTA COUNCIL FOR VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATIONS

The Investing Skill Scheme initiative, financed by VO Funding, supports the training of persons actively participating in the Maltese Labour Market, with the aim to increase productivity and enhance adaptability.

To be eligible for the Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, the applicant must have an economic activity irrespective of their legal form. These include:

- general partnerships;

- limited partnership;

- SME (small and medium enterprise);

- LTD;

- PLC;

- individual self-employed;

- NGOs - VOs.

NGOs and Social Partners not having an economic activity are also eligible to benefit from the scheme.

To be eligible for the Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, recipients' activities must aim at:

- increase productivity;

- enhance adaptability.

The Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, expires on 2023-06-23.

The costs eligible for Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, are:

- training;

- education.

The maximum value of the aid that may be provided by the Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, to an undertaking is capped at:

- 25,70€ per trainee per hour in the case of training costs;

- 5,15€ for wage costs.

The subsidy for wage costs has been extended to training that is held by distance learning or online.

The types of financing provided by the Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, are subsidy and reimbursement.

The funding bodies for the Investing Skill Scheme, financed by VO Funding, are MCVS and the European Social Fund.
